The new line up of Sony’s Xperia series of smart phone have been announced at CES 2013 such as the, Xperia Z a high end Xperia phone and the Xperia ZL, which is a similar spec phone of the Xperia Z. However you may
be wondering why the heck Sony is making a normal edition of the phone and than
making a lower or even a higher end spec of the current phone. Well, I don’t know
to be honest, but I do have to say the Xperia Z and ZL do look different when
looked from the back part of the phone. Since the Xperia Z has glass front and
back durable glass to give it that really nice and sleek design with the commitment
of keeping the phone safe, since it’s also water-resistant and dust resistant
and scratch resistant, making it resistant partially anything. Also not to miss
out the great features the Xperia Z has like the full HD 1920x1080 screen
running the Sony Bravia engine 2, which is recently new I believe. A whooping
13.1MP camera is also in the package that has many features like, HDR, picture effect,
touch focus, sweep panorama and many more. Connectivity still remains Sony’s
strength as it remains like the new Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and the other basics of
a normal high end smart phone. Sony’s also have got the 1.5GZ snap dragon processor
on this phone with 2GB of ram and flash memory of storage. The last thing
crucial of the Xperia J making the phone worthy to buy is Android Jelly Bean 4.1
which is now launched with the phone itself when it comes out, note that a skin
has been covered over 4.1 so it looks different to the default OS. The price
for all of these outstanding specs and looks hasn’t been fully announced, but
you can sign up for the notification updates on the Sony website. To receive when
the full pays as you go versions and contract tariffs phones come out. The
Xperia ZL on the other hand has only glass front while the back of the phone is
rubberized with a coating. Making it different from the Z, also the camera lens
has been moved from near the top left to the middle of the phone. However many
things are fairly similar between the Xperia ZL and Z like the screen size, processor
and memory. So I think I’ll leave it here while you can keep on looking at the
amazing photos of the two Xperia phones announced at CES 2013.
