You should now, Project Cars is realistic driving simulator made by the people who have worked on the NFS: Shift and Code Masters: Grid game. Which have been good games before. But not the best ever driving simulator you can argue against games like Gran Turismo and Forza. However now everything is changing for the next gen platform as games like Forza Horizon 2 and DriveClub. Are now competition for the top spot of all driving games. So for you own viewing pleasure.
