The Porsche 918 Spyder

The Porsche 918 is the one of most powerful road car Porsche has ever produced with over 800 HP mid engine, plug in hybrid super car the world has seen yet. The 918 shares the design and fame with the legendary Porsche Carrera GT, which was just stunning in every way you can see it as. The first time the 918 was shown is at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010 as a concept car, but later testing’s of the 918 Spyder were spotted at the Nurburgring and southern Italy with a Martini racing design and a black and white striped prototype version in October 2012.  The looks of the car is just beautiful in every way you can see it, the amazing air intakes in the back side of the car with lovely shaped brake lights, amazing front air intakes of the car allowing wind to pass through making the car cool down and also create down force. The most crucial thing of a car is the engine,where it sits right behind  with a lovely Carrera GT modern remake of the engine bay that has humps and vents for the engine to breath. Also note this is a brand new engine Porsche has produced with possibly new futuristic technology being used in the car. However Porsche announced the production of the car will be limited due to its price tag which is over £1 million. This is one stunning car that caught my eye and will remain in my head with environmentally friendly hybrid motor and the rumours of top speed of 210mph and 0-60 in 2.9 seconds ,which makes Porsche join the under 3.5 second club.The car will be available in 2013 making Porsche have time to test further on.
