The new Sony Xperia Z2 Smartphone has been officially announced by Sony. Which will be available to the public later on in March. The new Sony Xperia Z2 packs alot for its name as it features many major changes to the hardware and minor looks. Featuring a brand new 5.2" Full HD TRILUMINOS display that consists of having a mind blowing 1920x1080 resolution. 4K video capture, Digital Noise Cancelling, 4G LTE, NFC and launches with Android 4.4 Kit Kat. But thats not all as it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core CPU clocked at 2.3GHZ. With an updated camera at 20.7mp Back and 2.2MP Front. RAM has also been upgraded to 3GB, which will allow more space for multitasking and processing power for the phone. In more the phone is also water & dust proof like most Xperias and is slightly thinner than the Z1. So overall the Xperia Z2 seems like a massive step forward for Sony as the lineup keeps on getting better. While the phone is ready to ship out late March for UK and other countries.
However on the other hand Sony has also decided that the well known Xperia Z1 tablet needed an update. Which has been done with the new announcement of the Xperia Z2 tablet. That features a brand new screen similar to the Z2 Smartphone called the Full HD TRILUMINOS at 10.1" with a resolution of 1920x1080. Also internal hardware has been slightly upgraded like the 3GB RAM, 8.1MP Back and 2.2MP 1080p Front Cameras. With the brand new Qualcomm Quad Core Adreno 320 2.3GHZ CPU added also. Even more the ever so thin Xperia Z1 tablet known to be is even thinner now with the Xperia Z2 tablet measuring around 6.4mm thick. Which is now competing with the iPad Air's thickness. But as the price stands at £500 the Xperia Z2 tablet will come out in April 2014.
